Module 1 (60 hrs.) Certification
Ready To Work (NATE) / Employment Ready (HVAC Excellence).
These are exams often used by trade schools, apprenticeship programs, manufacturer, and wholesalers to validate a person’s retained knowledge necessary for employment. This training and certificate are for entry level technicians in the HVAC/R industry. Fundamental job knowledge and skills for an entry level technician in the areas of component identification, tools, measurements, electrical safety, general safety, and basic heat transfer.
At completion a candidate shall be qualified to take up to FOUR (4) industry recognized certificates exams.

Independent Students
In independent student is someone who will not receive any financial support for their training from any government agency. These students have a different fee schedule and payment arrangements.
Payment arrangement may require full payment before commencing training or an arrangement requiring downpayment upfront, and payment in full before commencing each modular training. For the purpose of this, each module $1707.00
The independent students are NOT supplied with any books, tools or any other essential learning hardware. In other words, independent students are responsible for cost of learning and certificate.

Method of Instructions
All modules are In-Person, (highly recommended).
Module I class material can be arranged with instructor for online.
Modules 2 & 3 are In-Person.
Enrollment Requirements:
- Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma of GED
- Enrollment is open all year round.

Overview Of Duties for Each Class Session (At ATI, we have time for students™.)
- Instructors will take students attendance at the beginning and end of each session.
- Instructors must record all tardies of up to 10 to 30 minutes and absence 31 minutes or more on the attendance sheet.
- Class break times are as follows: Day classes = One 30 minutes lunch and one 10 minutes break
- Instructors are responsible for controlling the conduct of the students on the premise, this includes ensuring that students follow all established polies and rules and removing students from the classroom who disrupts the learning environment of others.
- Instructors need to ensure that an incidents report form is filled out and submitted.
- Instructor must ensure that all safety procedures are strictly always adhered to.
- Good housekeeping procedure are to be strickle always adhered to.
- Instructors are to assume the position of a role model and mentor to students.
- Instructor must never have a negative confrontation with students in front of other students.
Curriculum:
The curriculum of all training meets the industry standards (NATEX.org, HVAC Excellence.org, RSES.org) and in line with the NCCER standardized curriculum.
The following grading systems will be used for grading the written test:
93 – 100 Excellent
82 – 92 Above average
70 – 81 Average (Pass)
0 – 69 Below average (Fail)
Percentage is determined using the following formula:
# of questions answered correctly ÷ total # number test questions =%
Record Keeping Requirement
Instructors must ensure that all students complete or attempt to complete the required curriculum modules. Within one week after a module is completed students’ grade, and evaluation forms, along with evaluation of the program’s curriculum must be completed and turned in to ATI staff.
Exceptions
“Guest” Instructors can be utilized if the certified craft instructor or master trainer is in attendance and the information being presented by the guest instructor is contained in the approved training materials.

Instructor Certification
All craft instructors must be trained and certified by Master Trainers
Craft instructor certification
Craft instructor must have experience at a minimum level of a journeyperson, or technician in their craft or have a minimum of three years of experience as a certified teacher in vocational/ technical construction, maintenance training program.
Safety Polices
The ATI management are responsible for reviewing safety procedures and policies with instructors.
Sleeved shirts and long pants are to be worn by all students. No ties, loose or ragged clothing is permitted.
Work boots must be always worn in classrooms`
Do not attempt to lift objects that are too heavy for you to lift alone.

There is a first aid kit located in the facility.
It is the responsibility of ATI to become familiar with the placement of all safety equipment.

In the event of an accident or medical emergency, an accident report form must be filled out immediately and filed with ATI office.
Drug and Alcohol Policy
Students, Instructors shall not be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs and shall not be in passion of or sell, distribute or transfer any illegal or unauthorized drug or substance, whether on their person, in their vehicles or at any jobs site, employers place of business, in any classroom, workshops or parking areas which are for regular or temporary use by the training programs, including field trip. An illegal or unauthorized drug or substance includes – alike, synthetic drugs.
Any student, group of students, instructors found in possession, use, transportation, and / or sale of the above drugs and/or substances will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including immediate dismissal from the training program/employment with ATI. A student, instructor may take prescribed drug to class if the drugs are contained in the original dispenser in their name and within one year of the prescription date.
Weapon and Firearm Policy
Students, Instructors are not allowed to have in their possession any type of weapon, firearm, or ammunition, whether on their person or in their vehicles, on any jobsite, employer, s place of business at the ATI office while representing ATI training program in any of the classrooms, workshop or parking areas of regular or temporary us by the training program including field trips. Any student, group of students, instructor found in possession of or using any weapon, firearm or ammunition will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from the training Program/ATI.
General Rules
- Begin the class by taking role.
- Explain your own classroom policies and expectations on the first day of class. Then consistently enforce them.
- Review your programs rule.
- Students must attend all modules.
- If a student is dropped from the program due to absences – no refund will be given, nor credit completed during the period of the whole training.
- Students cannot make up missed classes by attending another regularly scheduled class.
- Keep class clean – NO FOOD, DRINK OF ANY KIND, OR TOBACCO PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED IN CLASSROOM.
- No Cell phones are permitted to be used in class. Use of cell phones is restricted to brake time and after class only. The only exception will be an emergency. Instructors must be notified prior to the class session when a student has an emergency that may require them to use their phone.
- Horseplay in any form – scuffling, pranks wrestling, throwing materials at others, etc., is never permitted.
- Good Housekeeping promotes safe and efficient work.
